The 12th Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF2026) takes place in Halls 6 and 7 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 10 and 11 November 2026.

The annual conference and exhibition bills itself as Africa's biggest gathering focused on women's entrepreneurship. It brings together founders, business leaders, small and medium enterprises, investors, policymakers and development partners from more than 50 countries, with the goal of opening doors to funding, new markets and partnerships that help businesses grow and scale.

This year's theme is Beyond Access: Owning Capital, Markets and Power. It looks at how women can go further than simply getting access to resources, and instead own a bigger share of capital, take the lead in value chains and have more say in economic decisions, all while building businesses that last.

The forum is a good fit for women founders and anyone in the start-up and small business space who wants to connect with investors and partners. Adult tickets start at USD 150 and can be bought through the AWIEF website, awieforum.org, which is also the place to go for more information.

The CTICC is on the Foreshore in central Cape Town, and its website has directions and parking details for visitors.
