When and where: 28 Oct 2026, Cape Town, CTICC 2
From 28 October to 1 November 2026, Cape Town hosts FAME Week Africa, a gathering for people working in music, fashion, film, TV, animation and digital content. The event takes place at CTICC 2, on the corner of Heerengracht and Rua Bartholomeu Dias on the Foreshore, running daily from 9am to 5pm.
It is a trade event rather than a festival. The aim is to link African talent, brands and intellectual property with international buyers, broadcasters, streaming services and partners, so that creatives and companies can collaborate and close deals. It is billed as a leading trade platform for the continent's creative economy.
That makes it most relevant for young South Africans who are already working in, or trying to break into, the creative industries, such as filmmakers, animators, musicians, designers and digital content creators who want to meet the people who commission, buy and distribute work.
Ticket prices are not listed. For registration and programme details, the organisers can be reached on +27 11 612 6016, by email at [email protected], or through the official website, fameweekafrica.com. Directions and parking information are available on the CTICC website.
