Msaki and Thando Zide headline the next Sunset Music Series concert at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Roodepoort on Saturday, 7 November 2026. Gates open at 1pm and the show wraps up at 5pm.
The outdoor series pairs live music with the garden's green surroundings, which makes this a relaxed afternoon for music lovers, friends and families. Children under five get in free. Tickets start at R195, excluding the booking fee, and are sold online, with more details at sunsetmusicseries.co.za.
It is set up for picnics: you can bring your own food in baskets or bags, along with camp chairs and blankets. Small umbrellas are fine but must be placed at the back of the venue, while gazebos, large umbrellas, tables, cooler boxes and glass are not allowed. You also may not bring your own drinks.
Weapons, illegal substances, offensive clothing and pets (other than registered service dogs) are banned, and there are no pass-outs. The concert goes ahead whatever the weather, and tickets cannot be refunded.
If you cannot make this date, the series also features Ami Faku and Manana on 24 October and Sjava on 29 November at the same venue.
